• LHC Group (Lafayette, Louisiana) said that Barry Stewart, the company’s executive VP, CFO and treasurer, has resigned for personal reasons. Peter Roman, the company’s current VP and corporate controller, has been appointed to the position of interim CFO/treasurer. LHC Group provides post-acute healthcare services primarily in rural areas.

• MEDecision (Wayne, Pennsylvania) said that its board of directors has accepted the resignation of president/COO John Capobianco. In the interim, MEDecision founder and CEO David St. Clair will fill Capobianco’s role. MEDecision provides healthcare payer organizations with software, services and clinical content.

Noel Strong was named chief technology officer of Mediware Information Systems (Lenexa, Kansas). Previously, Strong was VP of application development for Corporate Synergies Group. Mediware makes blood and medication management software systems.
