• Aspect Medical Systems (Norwood, Massachusetts) said that Boudewijn Bollen will retire from his role as president of international operations in 1Q08. After this time, Bollen will serve on a part-time basis as a senior company advisor and will remain a member of the board of directors. Bill Floyd, VP of sales and marketing for Aspect, will work with Bollen throughout a transition period starting in Sept. 2007, and will be promoted to executive vice president of worldwide sales and marketing upon Bollen's retirement. Aspect specializes in brain monitoring technology.

• Denny Steger has been named VP of regulatory affairs and reimbursement for PlaCor. Steger previously was head of the regulatory affairs group at Medical CV. PlaCor is a manufacturer of diagnostic tests.
