• Peter Benton has been named Interim COO of etrials Worldwide (Morrisville, North Carolina). Benton is under contract for 180 days, during which he is charged with improving etrials' growth outlook and restructuring the company's operations. etrials said it has an active search underway for a permanent COO. Etrials makes eClinical solutions for clinical trial management.

• Dale Binke was named VP of sales of Spinal Elements (Carlsbad, California). Binke previously held leading sales positions at Medtronic. Spinal Elements is a private implant technology company.

• Keith Wright was named national director of surgical of Tri-anim (Sylmar, California. Previously, Wright served as the director of sales and marketing of closure technologies for B. Braun/Aesculap. Tri-anim provides specialty sales and distribution solutions for healthcare.

• Michael Pecora was named president/CEO of Unilens Vision (Largo, Florida). Pecora will succeed Alfred Vitale who announced his planned retirement effective July 31, 2007. Pecora was previously VP and CFO of Unilens, which make specialty contact lenses.
