• EDAP TMS (Lyon, France) reported the appointment of John Rewcastle, PhD, as international medical director. Rewcastle most recently worked with Endocare in the establishment of cryoablation as a treatment option for localized prostate cancer. EDAP specializes in high intensity focused ultrasound treatment of prostate cancer.

• Robert Hubert was named president/CEO of EKOS (Bothell, Washington). Most recently, Hubert was VP and general manager of the heart valve division of Medtronic. EKOS specializes in ultrasound facilitated drug delivery.

• Steven Davis was named VP of sales and marketing for Paradigm Medical Industries (Salt Lake City). Paradigm also disclosed that Chuck Pritchard has rejoined the company, as domestic sales manager. Pritchard previously worked at Paradigm for eight years, and is an expert in ultrasound biomicroscope and blood flow analyzer application and marketing. Paradigm Medical specializes in ultrasound devices for the ophthalmic and medical industries.

• Elizabeth Peacock has been hired by Signalife (Greenville, South Carolina) as its global director of sales. Peacock most recently was VP of sales and marketing for Ameritox. Signalife is focused on the monitoring and detection of disease through continuous biomedical signal monitoring.

• Norma Soleno-DeVaney was named the CFO of Vidacare (San Antonio). Soleno-DeVaney most recently was CFO of DocuSource. Vidacare makes intraosseous access technology for multiple diagnostic applications.
