• Alcon (Huenenberg, Switzerland) said that effective July 20, 2007, Jacqualyn Fouse, Alcon’s senior VP, CFO and chief of corporate strategy will leave the company to become CFO of Bunge. Fouse joined Alcon as senior VP and CFO in July of 2002. Alcon is an eye care company.

• Robert Hubert was named president/CEO of EKOS (Bothell, Washington). Most recently, Hubert was VP and general manager of the heart valve division of Medtronic. EKOS specializes in ultrasound facilitated drug delivery.

• Jeffrey Bairstow was named executive VP and CFO of Synarc (San Francisco). Prior to joining Synarc, Bairstow served as EVP and CFO at Dendrite. Synarc makes medical imaging analysis biochemical markers, and subject recruitment services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
