• Perceptive Informatics (Boston), the technology subsidiary of Parexel International, has promoted Wade Wirta to VP of its worldwide clinical interactive voice response systems (IVRS) operations. Prior to joining Parexel, Wirta spent more than 13 years with Pfizer. Perceptive specializes in developing imaging systems.

• Richard Tarbox III has been appointed senior VP and corporate development officer of Quidel (San Diego). Previously, Tarbox held senior operations and business development roles with Ostex International, Baxter International, and American Hospital Supply Corporation. Quidel is a developer of rapid point-of-care diagnostic tests.

• Norma Soleno-DeVaney was named CFO of Vidacare (San Antonio). Soleno-DeVaney most recently served as CFO of DocuSource. Vidacare makes intraosseous access technology for multiple diagnostic, monitoring and therapeutic applications.
