• Milestone Scientific (Livingston, New Jersey) reported that David Cohn, current CFO of the company, has indicated his intent to resign from the senior financial post to pursue new career opportunities. Cohn has agreed to continue serving Milestone until his replacement is hired. Milestone specializes in advanced injection technologies.

• Richard Tarbox III has been appointed senior VP and corporate development officer ofQuidel (San Diego). Previously, Tarbox held senior operations and business development roles with Ostex International, Baxter International, and American Hospital Supply Corporation. Quidel is a developer of rapid point-of-care diagnostic tests.
• Mary Denten was named CFO of Scale Venture Partners (Foster City, California). Denten previously was with Global Catalyst Partners. Scale Venture Partners strategy is focused on development-stage technology and healthcare investments.
