Daniel Kolk, PhD, has been named VP of product development for Derm Tech . (La Jolla, California). Previously Kolk worked for Gen-Probe for 12 years, where he co-developed an assay that detects HIV-1 and HCV. DermTech specializes in molecular tests using specimens derived from the skin.

Terrance Gregg has been named president/CEO of DexCom (San Diego). Previously Gregg was the CEO of MiniMed. DexCom develops glucose monitoring systems.

Chris Waddick has been named president/CEO of Vasogen (Mississauga, Ontario). Waddick formerly held a senior management position with Vasogen, a biotech company developing therapies designed to target the inflammatory process associated with the development and progression of cardiovascular and neurodegenerative disorders.
