• David Kimbell, was named as the senior VP and CFO of ATC Healthcare (Lake Success, New York). Previously Kimbell was the CFO of Progressive. He also served as the CFO and secretary of Galt Corporation and VP of finance at Electronic Diagnostic Imaging Staffers. ATC provides supplemental staffing, outsourcing and human resource solutions to hospitals, nursing homes, medical and research facilities and industry.

• Chip Leveille has been named VP of sales and marketing at Helicos BioSciences (Cambridge, Massachusetts), and Mark Solakian has been named VP and general counsel of Helicos. Leveille served as VP for Affymetrix in three separate capacities: Pharmaceutical Business, Core Technologies Group and Corporate Marketing. Previously Solakian was VP and chief corporate counsel for Affymetrix. Helicos develops genetic analysis technologies for the research, drug discovery and clinical diagnostics markets.

• Jerry Williamson was named executive VP and chief commercial officer of VisEn Medical (Woburn, Massachusetts). Previously Williamson served as president of Biacore. VisEn develops fluorescence molecular imaging technology platforms.
