Ronald Lund was named chief legal officer of AGA Medical (Minneapolis). Before joining AGA, Lund was employed at the Minneapolis law firm Fredrikson & Byron. AGA Medical makes interventional devices to treat structural heart defects.

Michael Jeub was named CFO of Bridgetech Holdings International (San Diego). Jeub will replace retiring CFO Noel DeWinter. DeWinter will remain as a consultant to Bridgetech and will assist with Jeub’s transition into the senior financial post. Most recently, Jeub served as the interim CFO of Averion International. Bridgetech Holdings International bills itself as focused on maximizing the potential of emerging healthcare products and services in the U.S. and Asian markets.

• Globus Medical (Audubon, Pennsylvania) reported that it has expanded its sales and distribution departments. The 2007 additions include: Richard Holifield, most recently with Synthes Spine; Brian McQuaig, most recently with Medtronic Sofamor Danek (MSD); Steve Anthony from J&J DePuy; Jim Poynton, from MSD; Jim Pauwels from Orthovita/MSD; Rex Ledbetter, from Orthovita/Synthes; Mike Reeder, from Synthes; John Doherty, from MSD; John Dowling, MSD; Mark Aronow, Synthes; Doug Sarmousakis, Kyphon/Synthes; and Josh Heath, Synthes. Globus Medical is a privately-held spinal implant manufacturer.
