Scott Storrer has been named group president of Healthcare Supply Chain Services-Pharmaceutical, for Cardinal Health (Dublin, Ohio). Storrer will join Cardinal Health on May 21 from Cigna Corp., where he served as executive VP of Service Operations and Information Technology. Cardinal Health's technologies, include Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis automated dispensing systems, MedMined data mining software and the CareFusion patient identification system, and other medical and surgical products.

Doug Berg has been named CEO of Lakewood Pathology Services (Lakewood, New Jersey) and has been appointed to the company's board. Berg replaces Dr. Raza Bokhari, who has decided to step down one year after the company transitioned to its new majority owner, Water Street Healthcare Partners, a private equity firm. Bokhari will remain on Lakewood's board. Berg has held a variety of management positions at laboratory and healthcare organizations, including being corporate VP of sales and marketing for Quest Diagnostics. Lakewood Pathology is a national pathology company providing multi-specialty services, including diagnostic procedures and specialist consultations.
