• Steve Lundy has been named senior VP of sales and marketing for Ciphergen Biosystems (BD; Fremont, California). Lundy previously was VP of sales and marketing for GeneOhm, acquired by BD in February 2006. While at GeneOhm, he led the commercial launch of molecular diagnostic assays including the first molecular test for Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus. Ciphergen has ongoing diagnostic programs in oncology, cardiology and women's health with an initial focus in ovarian cancer.
• James Dilger Jr, has been appointed VP of operations for eCArdio Diagnostics (The Woodlands, Texas) and Richard Woodyard has been appointed VP of business development.Dilger has served as CFO, Vice President of Customer Support, Controller and Auditor for companies such as Andrew Shebay and Company and Arthur Anderson. Woodyard most recently served in senior sales leadership roles with Guidant, now a part of Boston Scientific Corporation. eCardio Diagnostics develops technologies, devices, services and solutions for the diagnosis, monitoring, and subsequent clinical management of cardiac arrhythmias, primarily in the ambulatory setting.
• Edward Jones, III, has been named president/COO of eMedicalFiles (Atlanta), and Mark McLaughlin has been named executive VP and chief technology officer. Jones is a founding commissioner of the Electronic Healthcare Network Accreditation Commission, and served as chair of the Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange, a national association of healthcare entities that advised the Secretary of Health & Human Services on electronic information management and exchange issues in healthcare. eMedicalFiles is a health information technology company.
