• Glen Giovanetti has been named leader of the new Global Biotechnology Center (Boston) of Ernst & Young. Giovanetti has relocated to Boston from Northern California, where he was business risk services leader for the Pacific North West Area. Scott Sarazen has been appointed to the new position of global markets leader within the center. His previous positions include senior VP for life sciences with MassDevelopment and director of global planning and development at Genzyme. The center's services include tax, risk management, regulation smf compliance, internal audit, finance and performance management, transaction advisory services and technology advisory.
• Nick Colucci has been appointed president/CEO of Publicis Healthcare Communications Group (New York) to replace Ed Rady. Rady, named chairman, will remain in that position through the end of the year. Colucci was named Rady's successor in 2004, when he was promoted to the position of COO. The Healthcare Group is a division of Publicis Groupe, its services including advertising, medical education, sales and marketing, and medical and scientific affairs.
• Stephen Jones has been named VP of human resources for LCA-Vision (Cincinnati). Most recently, Jones served as VP of talent management at The Kroger Co. LCA-Vision provides laser vision correction services under the LasikPlus brand.
