"• Chuck Jaggers has been named VP of R&D at Abbott Spine (Austin, Texas). Most recently Jaggers worked in senior management roles in the hip product development group. Abbott Spine is an innovator in spinal implant technology.

• Sunrise Senior Living (McLean, Virginia) reported that effective May 2 its board has terminated the employment of Bradley Rush "for cause." It said that Rush had been suspended with pay from his position as the company's CFO. The board appointed Julie Pangelinan, chief accounting officer, to the additional position of acting CFO. Sunrise offers personal senior living services, including independent living, assisted living, care for individuals with Alzheimer's and other forms of memory loss, as well as nursing, rehabilitative and hospice care.
