• Eran Aharonson has been appointed vice president, computational life science research and development for Compugen (Tel Aviv, Israel). Aharonson joins Compugen from Advanced Recognition Technologies, where he served for 12 years, most recently as CEO. Compugen is a drug and diagnostic discovery company incorporating ideas and methods from mathematics, computer science, and physics into biology, chemistry and medicine.

• Robert Faulkner will join JMP Securities (San Francisco) as a managing director and senior research analyst, effective April 11. Faulkner joins JMP Securities from Prudential Equity Group, a division of Prudential Financial, where he was a senior vice president and senior equity analyst covering the medical device industry for three years. JMP Securities is an investment bank providing equity research, institutional brokerage and investment banking services to public and private growth companies and their investors.
