• David Johnson has been named CEO of BioCrossroads (Indianapolis). Most recently Johnson was a partner at the law firm Baker & Daniels. Johnson replaces departing CEO Charles Schalliol. Johnson was an early promoter of the Indiana initiative, serving as chairman of its Capital Formation Task Force and leading the development of the Indiana Future Fund, a $73 million venture capital pool.
• Former Pennsylvania congressman James Greenwood officially took the reins as president of the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO; Washington). He succeeds the now-retired Carl Feldbaum, who had served as BIO's president since the organization's inception in 1993.
• D. Dane Donohue has been named president and CEO of E Med Future (Columbus, Ohio) following the resignation of Robert Ochsendorf, the company's former president and CEO, on Jan. 3. Donohue is one of the co-founders of E Med and served as executive vice president since the company's inception. In a letter to the directors, Ochsendorf cited health reasons and personal matters that needed his immediate attention.
• Michael Murdock has been appointed senior vice president and CFO of Radiologix (Dallas), effective Feb. 1. He replaces Richard Sabolik. For the past five years, Murdock has served as CFO of Dental One. President and CEO Sami Abbasi, the company's former CFO, will act as interim CFO until Jan. 31. Radiologix is a national provider of diagnostic imaging services, owning and operating multi-modality diagnostic imaging centers.
• Scott Bennett has been named senior vice president of sales and marketing at SCI Systems (Los Gatos, California), an application service provider for enterprise patient access management. Bennett previously was with Shared Medical Systems and later Siemens Medical Solutions, most recently as corporate vice president of enterprise sales.
