Cor Therapeutics Inc. said Tuesday that it has filed aregistration statement with the Securities and ExchangeCommission for a public offering of 2.5 million newly issuedshares of common stock. Robertson, Stephens & Co. andMontgomery Securities are underwriting the offering.

Shares in the South San Francisco, Calif., company(NASDAQ:CORR) closed down $1.50 a share to $13.50.
