Bioject Inc. has signed a preliminary agreement with VHASupply Co. to sell and distribute Bioject's needle-less drugdelivery system to members of Voluntary Hospitals of AmericaInc. VHA is a national alliance of more than 660 locally ownednot-for-profit hospitals and their 190 affiliates.

VHA Supply will conduct clinical evaluations of the Biojectorin VHA hospitals and provide Bioject with market research.Upon successful completion of the clinical evaluations, thecompanies will enter into a purchase agreement and trademarklicense no later than Dec. 31.

Bioject (NASDAQ:BJCTF) of Portland, Ore., and VHA Supplyestimate that the agreement could represent $3 million inpurchases of Bioject products per year.
