Theratechnologies Inc., of Montreal, reported that for the third quarter ended Aug. 31, consolidated revenue for the three- and nine-month periods totaled $16.11 million and $46.8 million, respectively, compared to $13.52 million and $31.23 million, respectively, for the same periods last year, an increase of 19.1% and 49.9%. 

Incyte Corp., of Wilmington, Del., said for the second quarter, net product revenues of Jakafi (ruxolitinib) were $410 million as compared to $346 million for the same period in 2018, representing 18% growth.

Alkermes plc, of Dublin, reported second-quarter revenues of $279.9 million compared to $304.6 million for the same period in 2018.

Alexion Pharmaceuticals Inc., of Boston, reported second-quarter revenues of $1.2 billion, a 15% increase compared to $1 billion in the same period last year. 

Seattle Genetics Inc., of Bothell, Wash., reported U.S. and Canadian sales of Adcetris (brentuximab vedotin), its antibody-drug conjugate targeting CD30 for lymphoma, totaling $159 million for the second quarter, marking a 30% increase over net sales in the second quarter of 2018 and topping consensus estimates by roughly 7%. 

It took 10 years but Boston Scientific (BSX) may have finally overcome its ill-advised 2006 Guidant acquisition. The company’s shares hit a decade high Wednesday, at one point spiking nearly 12 percent to $22.05 after knocking its first quarter sales out of the park.
