In a week that's been filled with blockbuster acquisitions in the med-tech sector, Fujifilm Holdings (Tokyo) reported that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire SonoSite (Bothell, Washington), a developer of bedside and point-of-care ultrasound technology for about $995 million.
