Women have substantially greater relative risk of major adverse cardiovascular events associated with a variety of plaque measures assessed by Cleerly Inc.’s AI-enhanced quantitative coronary computed tomography than men, an post hoc analysis of the CONFIRM2 trial found.

Cardio Diagnostics Holding Inc. launched Precisionchd, a blood test for the early detection of coronary heart disease. The test will initially be available for existing customers, with nationwide rollout to follow shortly thereafter, the company said.

Vensana Capital led the round with participation from the American College of Cardiology, Cigna Ventures, Dititx Partners, Lrvhealth (formerly Long River Ventures), New Leaf Venture Partners and returning investors.
