Baxter International (Deerfield, Illinois) and Synovis Life Technologies (St. Paul, Minnesota) reported yesterday a definitive agreement for Baxter to acquire Synovis, a provider of biological and mechanical products for soft tissue repair used in a variety of surgical procedures.
