Abiomed Inc. was awarded an expanded PMA to treat heart failure linked to cardiomyopathy resulting in cardiogenic shock, adding to the April 2016 indication for acute myocardial infarction (AMI), cardiogenic shock, and post-cardiotomy cardiogenic shock.
