The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services announced June 2 it will cover screening for hepatitis C virus, a test that can be done in a physician's office thanks to the fact that OraSure Technologies (Bethlehem, Pennsylvania) has an FDA approved rapid test for the virus called OraQuick.
