Cempra Inc., of Chapel Hill, N.C., said it received a $10 million milestone payment from Toyama Chemical Co., a subsidiary of Fujifilm Holdings Corp., triggered by the progress of its solithromycin, which obtained regulatory clearance to begin a phase II trial in Japan.
