Genomics could improve diagnosis, treatment of soft tissue tumors in infants

LONDON - Whole genome sequencing of soft tissue tumors in infants has revealed mutations in the EGFR and BRAF kinase gene, opening up the possibility of repurposing targeted drugs to treat those tumors.
