"The U.S. health care system is broken, and it's time to fix it" seemed to be the mantra at Tuesday's Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee hearing on a bipartisan bill aimed at curbing health care costs. The bill, which the committee plans to mark up next week, contains nearly three dozen provisions addressing insurance, provider and prescription drug costs and practices.
