Small healthcare providers – such as orthotic and prosthetic firms – are feeling significant financial strain due to the backlog of Medicare reimbursement appeals, according to a new analysis from Dobson DaVanzo & Associates (Dobson DaVanzo) commissioned by the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA; Washington).
