The MDD Interview: It's a Given this company brought new thinking to GI imaging

Nachum (Homi) Shamir is president/CEO of Given Imaging (Yokneam, Israel), whose U.S. operations are located in Duluth, Georgia. Shamir joined the company in April 2006, prior to which he served as corporate VP of Eastman Kodak and as president of Eastman Kodak's Transaction and Industrial Solutions Group, which includes several business units, among them Kodak Versamark (whose operations were previously those of Scitex Digital Printing), of which he was president and CEO. From June 2003-January 2004, he was president/CEO of Scitex Corp., and before Scitex held senior management positions at various international companies, mainly in the Asia-Pacific regions.
