• AngioDynamics (Albany, New York) has named Joseph DeVivo as president/CEO, effective Sept. 7. DeVivo most recently was global president of Smith & Nephew Orthopedics. AngioDynamics makes minimally invasive medical devices for vascular access, surgery, peripheral vascular disease and oncology.

• Neoprobe (Dublin, Ohio) said Gordon Troup was elected chairman of the board. Troup has been a director of Neoprobe since July 2008 and vice chairman of the board since July 2010. Neoprobe makes oncology surgical and diagnostic devices.

• Osprey Medical (Eden Prairie, Minnesota) has named Dan Mans as VP of clinical and regulatory affairs. Previously, Mans held positions with Voyageur Medical, American Medical Systems, Medtronic, and various start-up companies. Osprey is a privately held company dedicated to the treatment and prevention of ailments originating from the inter-related functioning of the heart and kidneys with a primary focus on contrast induced nephropathy.
