• Aduromed Industries (Bethel, Connecticut) reported the appointment of two new senior vice presidents. John Accardi was named senior VP of sales and David Laky senior VP of client services. Accardi previously worked for Oracle/Siebel Systems, while Laky joins Aduromed from eResearchTechnology. Aduromed Industries provides technology and services for the onsite treatment and disposal of regulated medical waste.

• Terrence Macaleer has joined Allscripts (Chicago) as VP of sales for the company's Enterprise Solutions Group. Macaleer is a co-founder of Eclipsys. Allscripts makes clinical software, connectivity and information solutions.

• Joe Mello will retire as COO of DaVita (El Segundo, California) on Dec. 31. Dennis Kogod has been promoted to COO effective Jan. 1. Kotgod currently serves as DaVita's president-West, a post he has held since October 2005. DaVita provides dialysis services and education for patients with chronic kidney failure and end stage renal disease.
