Kären Olson was named CEO of BioMarker Strategies (Baltimore). Olson is the former president/CEO of Adhesives Research. BioMarker Strategies is a cancer diagnostics company.

Milton Frank has been named COO of Life Recovery Systems HD (Kinnelon, New Jersey). He also will remain as president/CEO of Nexcore Technology. Life Recovery Systems makes the ThermoSuit system, a noninvasive hypothermia device, as well as other emergency devices.

• Mobile Imaging Development (Las Vegas) reported that its limited partnership, Mobile Diagnostic Centers has named Patrick McNamara as director of marketing and operations. McNamara's previous mobile imaging experience includes the formation of a mobile PET/CT route that was launched just after the introduction of the Deficit Reduction Act of 2007. Mobile Diagnostic Centers is a mobile medical imaging services provider.

• WellCare Health Plans (Tampa, Florida) said that Jonathan Rich, formerly general counsel and chief compliance officer for health insurer Aveta, will join the company as senior VP and chief compliance officer on or about Aug. 11. WellCare provides managed care services exclusively for government-sponsored healthcare programs, focusing on Medicaid and Medicare.
