Sharon Delman has been named VP of marketing for Cutera (Brisbane, California). Cutera said that Delman has built brands and launched products at a number of companies, including LeapFrog Enterprises, Eastman Kodak and Kraft Foods. Cutera makes aesthetic treatments.

Timothy Nolan has been named COO of RecoverCare (Radnor, Pennsylvania). Nolan most recently was senior VP of Coventry Health Care. RecoverCare is a provider of wound, bariatric and other patient-safety solutions to healthcare facilities.

Randy Brown has been named COO of Spherix (Bethesda, Maryland). Brown most recently ran the operations group for a contract research organization. Spherix provides technical and regulatory consulting services to biotech and pharma companies.

Danong Chen has been named president/CEO of Theranostics Health (Rockville, Maryland). Chen was previously president/CEO of Tanox. Theranostics' core technology is the reverse phase protein microarray, combined with laser capture microdissection.

Rebecca Weber has been promoted from manager of reporting and controls to controller and director of finance for Urologix (Minneapolis). Urologix makes minimally invasive medical products for the treatment of urological disorders.

Don Todd has been named VP of marketing for VNUS Medical Technologies (San Jose, California), effective May 5. Most recently, Todd was senior VP of marketing at Iridex. VNUS makes products for the minimally invasive treatment of venous reflux disease.

• WellPoint (Indianapolis) named Kevin Hayden as president of its State-Sponsored Business division. Prior to joining WellPoint, Hayden was secretary of the Department of Health and Family Services for the state of Wisconsin. WellPoint is a health benefits company.
