The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (Rockville, Maryland) and the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (Washington) are sponsoring a report on the progress of the Health Information Security and Privacy Collaborative. The web conference will air at 1 p.m., EST, Feb. 21.

The report will describe the project's impact on reducing variations among states around privacy and security practices, policies and state laws focusing on the Phase II work (conducted June to December 2007), and on issues identified by the state teams as focus areas for the future.
