• Patricia Steigerwald, MS, RN, as been named VP, global late phase, for Kendle International (Cincinnati, Ohio). Steigerwald most recently was senior director, late phase for Kendle, a global clinical research organization.

• Jack Wheeler, CEO of MicroPhage (Longmont), was named chairperson of the board for the Colorado BioScience Association (CBSA; Denver) at its 2007 annual all-member meeting held at the GlobeImmune/Replidyne dual headquarters facility in Louisville, Colorado. In addition, eight new board members were appointed, expanding the CBSA board to 40 members. Colorado BioScience is a not-for-profit corporation providing services and support for Colorado's biosciences industry.

• The board of OnCURE Medical (Newport Beach, California) reported the appointment of David Chernow as CEO. Chernow is currently a director of OnCURE and will continue to serve as a board member. OnCURE owns, operates and manages radiation centers and other HDR & PET/CT units, all located in California and Florida.
