• John Kaiser has been named CEO of Crdentia (Dallas), effective March 26, filling an open position. Kaiser’s career in healthcare has included healthcare industry including senior management positions at Boehringer Mannheim (Roche), Abbott Laboratories and The Upjohn Company. Kaiser also has been named a member of the company’s board. Crdentia is a provider of healthcare staffing services.

• Bill Adams has been named president of Patient Safety Technologies (PST; Los Angeles). Adams is also CEO and chairman of the company’s subsidiary, SurgiCount Medical (Temecula, California). Adams has been involved in the development of the Safety-Sponge System for several years for SurgiCount. PST acquires controlling interests in companies and products in the healthcare and medical products fields.
