International Isotopes (Idaho Falls, Idaho) reported the completion of the construction and initial operational testing of its Fluorine Extraction Process (FEP) production plant. In 2006, the company will begin fluoride gas production and work towards providing qualification samples to obtain supply agreement contracts. In addition to the fluoride gases, the company also sees "significant" markets for the byproducts of the FEP technology, such as depleted uranium oxides.
