BioElectronics(Frederick, Maryland) reported the opening of a sales and marketing office in Westlake Village, California, to sell its FDA-cleared ActiPatch Therapy.

The Los Angeles-area facility will be staffed by marketing and clinical education experts focused on educating providers on the benefits of ActiPatch for their patients, with an initial focus on plastic surgery, orthopedics and podiatry.

The West Coast office also will focus on product development for line extensions and the next generation of ActiPatch.

Skyscape reaches 400,000 users

Skyscape (Hudson, Massachusetts) said that its network of medical professionals has crossed the 400,000-user mark, making it one of the largest networks of mobile device carrying medical practitioners.

Skyscape’s portfolio of titles includes clinical references, drug guides, dictionaries, drug interaction guides and calculators to provide point-of-care decision support.
