• Byron Hewett has been named president and chief operating officer of Immunicon (Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania). Hewett previously served as the company’s chief operating officer and general manager for cancer products. Concurrently, Edward Erickson, CEO and chairman, reported his intention to step down as CEO on March 31, 2006. Immunicon develops cell-based research and human diagnostic products with an initial focus on the management of cancer.
• William Kullback has been named chief financial officer for IntriCon (St. Paul, Minnesota), formerly named Selas Corporation of America. Kullback assumes the role of CFO from Robert Gallagher, who is pursuing an opportunity outside of the company. Kullback previously served as senior vice president and CFO of MedSource Technologies. IntriCon manufactures microminiaturized electronic products primarily for the hearing instrument industry, as well as the medical equipment, computer, government, electronics, and telecommunications industries.
