Osso VR has raised $27 million in a series B financing led by GSR Ventures. The funds will be used to accelerate expansion of its library and virtual reality (VR)-powered surgical training and assessment platform.
Xenco Medical LLC debuted its glasses-free holographic surgical simulation platform, Holomedx, enabling patients and their surgeons to understand the nuances of spinal procedures before they get underway. The designation follows the completion of a clinical trial assessing VR-based therapy for self-management of chronic pain at home.
