Neurotech startup Nēsos Corp. has emerged from stealth with a novel approach for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. Using wireless earbuds, the technology delivers electrical fields to targeted areas of the brain to help regulate immune function. The company recently raised $16.5 million in a series A round to advance clinical development of its first e-immunotherapy product.
PARIS – Braintale SAS has completed a $1.2 million seed round towards its portfolio of digital quantification and prediction medical devices for neurology and intensive care. This funding round, including a loan from Bpifrance, attracted investment from business angels, as well as industry and health care professionals.

Melbourne-headquartered Control Bionics develops assistive technologies (AT) that allow people with severe disabilities to communicate and control electronic devices using electromyography (EMG).
