FDA approves Animas Vibe insulin pump and CGM system

Animas (Chesterbrook, Pennsylvania), a Johnson & Johnson (New Bfnsulin pumprunswick, New Jersey) company, reported FDA approval of its Animas Vibe insulin pump and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) system for the management of insulin-requiring diabetes in adults. According to the company, it is the first integrated system featuring Dexcom G4 Platinum sensing technology with proven accuracy.
