The FDA has granted a de novo request for Procept Biorobotics Inc.'s Aquabeam system for the resection and removal of prostate tissue for the treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) as a result of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), or enlarged prostate.
