Hookipa's Gilead deal validates technology, extends cash runway

LONDON – Hookipa Biotech AG agreed to its first major collaboration, forming a potential $400 million-plus partnership with Gilead Sciences Inc. to apply its immunization platform to develop therapies for HIV and hepatitis B infections.
