Her title is VP, business development. The article also said that the Joint Molecular Conference was solely sponsored by the Academy of Molecular Imaging. It was jointly sponsored by the Academy of Molecular Imaging and the Society of Molecular Imaging.
In our Oct. 4 issue, in the story headlined “Panel: vascular therapy poses difficulties but then ‘reinvents’,” MDD reported that Dr. Andreas Gruentzig, who performed the first angioplasty, “died in 1985 of a condition unrelated to angioplasty's difficulty.” A reader has informed us that Gruentzig died in “an airplane crash along with his wife Margaret in a plane he was piloting.”
