Hal Andrews will join Cogent Healthcare (Irvine, California), a provider of hospitalist programs, as senior vice president of corporate development. He will be located in its Nashville, Tennessee, office. An attorney by trade, Andrews comes to Cogent from Heritage Group, a healthcare investment and advisory firm where he advised start-up companies on capital formation and business strategies.

• Eastman Kodak (Rochester, New York) has named two vice presidents in health solutions-related units. David Kiser has been named director and vice president, health, safety and environment, and Anne LeGrand general manager, output systems and mammography solutions in Kodak's Health Group. Kiser joined the company in 1981, and today leads Kodak's global emphasis on sustainability and health, safety and environmental stewardship as director since 2004. LeGrand joined Kodak in 1999 and assumed her current position in January. She previously worked as regional business general manager, greater Asia region, for Health Imaging, with responsibility for the business across 22 countries. She also was regional business general manager, EAMER for Health Imaging. In October 2005, she became general manager, digital output systems, Health Group.

David Carlucci, president and CEO of IMS Health (Fairfield, Connecticut), has been named chairman, CEO and president, effective April 1. Carlucci succeeds David Thomas, who is retiring from the IMS board of directors, effective March 31. Thomas served as chairman and CEO of IMS from November 2000 until January 2005, when he assumed the role of executive chairman. Carlucci joined IMS as president and chief operating officer in October 2002, and was named CEO and president in January 2005. IMS Health is a provider of market intelligence to the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.

John Tondra has joined invivodata (Pittsburgh) in the newly created position of vice president, worldwide operations. Tondra was previously director of worldwide operations for Pinnacle Systems. The invivodata electronic Patient Reported Outcome (ePRO) solution, which includes DiaryPRO for real-time PRO data collection and SitePRO for site-based PRO data collection, provides access to study data, giving researchers and sponsors visibility into study progress and improving trial efficiencies.
