Michael Branca, vice president, finance and chief financial officer of MTS Medication Technologies (St. Petersburg, Florida), said he would resign those posts effective March 17 to return to a position in the private equity markets. Terri Dunbar, controller and principal accounting officer, will oversee financial operations until a replacement is named. MTS Medication Technologies is a provider of medication compliance packaging systems designed to improve medication dispensing and administration.

Glenn Stiegman III has joined Musculoskeletal Clinical Regulatory Advisors (MCRA; New York) as vice president, regulatory affairs. Stiegman comes to MCRA from the FDA, where he was the chief of the orthopedics devices branch for the Office of Device Evaluation. MCRA is a portfolio company of Viscogliosi Bros., a venture capital, private equity and merchant banking firm dedicated to the musculoskeletal/orthopedics sector of the healthcare industry. MCRA assists client companies with the FDA regulatory approval processes.

Marc Panoff has been appointed CFO and chief accounting officer of Neurologix (Fort Lee, New Jersey). He most recently served as CFO at Nephros, where he was responsible for leading the company's initial public offering. Prior to that, he held key finance positions at Walker Digital Companies and Medicis Pharmaceutical. Neurologix is developing treatments for disorders of the brain and central nervous system, primarily using gene therapies.
