Researchers from the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, the Institut National de la Santé et de la Recherche Médicale, Nanyang Technological University and the University of Montpellier have patented new Mycobacterium sp. ATP synthase (F0F1 ATPase) inhibitors potentially useful for the treatment of nontuberculous mycobacterial infections.
