• Medicsight (New York) reported the following restructuring of its management team, effective March 19. David Sumner, currently CEO, becomes executive chairman; Allan Rowley, currently CFO, becomes CEO; and Tim Paterson-Brown becomes a non-executive director. Rowley has been CFO since 2006. Medicsight specializes in computer-aided detection and image analysis software for medical imaging.

• Patrick Kelly was named European sales director of RainDance Technologies (Lexington, Massachusetts). Kelly was previously global business manager of European operations at Helicos Biosciences. RainDance Technologies makes microdroplet-based solutions for human health and disease research.
